Welcome to my website!

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Political Science at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), affiliated with the CEVIPOL research centre. I defended my PhD in June 2026 and remain funded by the Walloon Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS) through October 2027. Previously, I studied at the University of Groningen (BA), the University of Maastricht (MSc), and the University of Cologne (MA).

In my dissertation, I studied how election periods shape affective polarization and how affective polarization, in turn, influences electoral behaviour. My doctoral research was situated within the Belgian inter-university NotLikeUs project and funded by a four-year F.R.S.–FNRS Aspirant Fellowship. In Fall 2024, I was a visiting researcher at the Canada Research Chair in Electoral Democracy at the Department of Political Science at the Université de Montréal.

More broadly, my research focuses on political behaviour, elections, and European politics. I am also very interested in attitudes toward European integration and foreign policy.
